Counselling Sciences’ Code of Practice and Responsibility to the client; ensures that privacy and confidentiality during all stages of the counselling process is respected and upheld at all times. Respecting the individuality of the client is a high priority for Counselling Sciences.       

About Beverley Ryan:

Prior to setting up this practice, I worked in a multi-disciplinary environment within the NSW Police Force for over 20 years. I gained professional expertise, experience and accreditation in the areas of workplace rehabilitation, welfare and counselling support to those employees who suffered work-related physical and/or psychological injuries such as; anxiety and post-traumatic stress. 

I have experience in providing counselling support to those in need of such services, within various legal and health related disciplines such as; Court Services (Downing Centre), Parklea Prison (Young Offenders Program), NSW State Coroner’s Court, Sydney Clinic, Bronte and the Herbert Street Clinic, Royal North Shore Hospital. 

My tertiary qualifications are in the disciplines of Law (Criminology) and Social Sciences (Social Welfare). I have a Graduate Diploma-Criminology, Sydney; a:- Bachelor Social Sciences (Social Welfare), Charles Sturt; and a:- Diploma Counselling & Group-Work, Australian Institute Relationship Studies (Relationships Australia). 

Counselling Sciences provides treatment for:  

·       Anxiety disorders and depression:-

·       Trauma & Grief:- 

·       Post- traumatic stress:-

·       Workplace anxiety.

I have met the required criteria to undertake Worker’s Compensation work within NSW. My WorkCover Approval number is: 12742.
